Oh what a wonderful day it was!  Warren & Chanelle and ALL the many people who love them were together to celebrate the BIG day with them.  She was a spectacular beauty.  He was very handsome.  Together they made the perfect picture.  Most of all though, I could see very clearly that these two not only fit together from the outsides, but their souls have found the soulmate they were looking for.  A wedding filled with entertainment.  Friendship.  Laughs and fun.  What a wonderful day it was.  My favourite was when Warren and his gang sang Chanelle a song…with him ending on his knees.  Warren & Chanelle, thank you so very much for letting me capture these moments for you.  It truly was a magnificent day.  May these pics always remind you how much.

Thank you, Caroline, for once again assisting me and doing a wonderful job in doing so! xx

Happy 40th, Denize!  You are an AWESOME individual and I am privileged to know you!  (So much, in fact, that I have added a picture of you and me on this blog…something I will never do!)

Once upon a time, on a very warm Namibian Summer’s day, Christian & Rolene said there I do’s at Africa Safari Lodge just outside Mariental.  I haven’t done a wedding in the south of this country for a while, and was taken by surprise by the heat… as always.  Once the day started, though, I completely forgot about it.  Rolene looked stunning and the golden hour turned out to be a gorgeous one-of-a-kind African sunset with a spectacular display of clouds in pink, purple and orange. I could not have asked for a more romantic background as Christian & Rolene spent the hour away from guests with their couple session.

May the natural surroundings on the farm remind you daily that the magic of life lies within the skill to find beauty in everything.  May you always find it in one another too.

Some days the harsh Namibian light surprises me as a natural light photographer.  I can do the same thing twice and some days it works really well, and on other days it purely jumps off the lens in perfection.  Jan & Lilanie’s wedding was one of these “well lit” days for me… The light worked out everytime and provided me with more depth than I could anticipate.  I loved it!

These two got hitched a while ago already, but celebrated the entire day as if for the first time.  Lilanie put in so much effort in all the little details of the day.  It was planned to perfection.  And perfect it was.  Thank you again, Okapuka Game Ranch for hosting yet another successful event.
