“It’s exciting when you see parts of yourself in someone else.”

Linja is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met.  With her the glass is always half full and on her wedding day the glasses were overflowing with love, laughter and precious time with family and friends.  Namibia is suffering from a very bad drought but somehow Buffy and Linja managed to have a perfect spring day and the dryness of the surroundings only added to the heart warming union of loved ones on the day. Congratulations you two.  May the excitement of this day and this journey never where off.

Credit to Caroline de Meersemann for doing a great job as a second shooter.

” I love you for all that you are, all that you have been and all you’re yet to be…”  – unknown

I love August sunsets in Namibia where the light turns from a dust filled brown during the day to a display of pinks, purples and warm yellowish-orange.  Francois & Janine had such a perfect afternoon for their wedding day.  The light worked out perfectly in every situation.  Moments and memories were everywhere I looked and this soft-hearted couple was enjoying every second of the day.  Thank you to Caroline de Meerseman for her observant and serving spirit as assistant.  Okapuka Game lodge was once again a great setting for the warm-hearted love story of Francois & Janine to begin.
