I went along with PWC to one of the S.P.E.S schools in Katutura as the TAX & VAT team handed them a computer to help improve the reading techniques for the children of Butterfly Pre School.  The Word4word programme help teachers help students to improve their reading skills and techniques.  A few years ago I also went along with Esme (SPES) to visit the same school.  Today it gives my heart a huge smile to notice how the Butterfly school embraces assistance to help, encourage and teach their children and in doing so, help giving them a future.

Thanks to Trix Malan for her assistance and her “behind the scene” shot!

It was Beverley’s birthday in June.  In celebration to her birthday the family came to me for a fun filled shoot.  Her twin girls are gorgeous and being a photographer herself, I had little trouble with them as they are familiar being in front of the lens.  Beverley, you have a lovely family!  I hope you will treasure these moments for many years to come!

This shoot was so much fun!  Adult onesies, a bed in the middle of the feld and loads of love and laughter while I tried to capture the fun loving relationship between these two lovebirds.

When I see Anja, I am always taken back to my years in Uni, Stellenbosch.  To see them for the first time in (who’s counting?) years brought a bit of nostalgia with it.  9 month old Milanka is a bundle of joy and meeting her was wonderfuly creative as her big brown eyes kept my finger on the shutter every second.  They are a beautiful family and I loved spending what little time I could, with them.

Anja and Mirco, I hope you enjoy these…  xxx
